Calm, Kind and Effective Divorce Lawyer
I have been lucky not to need support from law firms before my divorce, and feel extremely lucky to have landed on Expatriate Law in my first researches into firms that could help me.
My first contact with Expatriate Law set the tone for the rest of my experience with them. I spoke with one of the Managing Partners who was compassionate to my situation, I was in a state of shock, but also gave clear, calm and practical advice on what needed to happen. Her advice led me to engage Expatriate Law to help me with my divorce. I worked with Hero Lomas on my case.
Hero and her team helped me understand the legal processes that I needed to go through: divorce, asset separation and child custody. She also aided me in making the right decisions about what to pursue in the UK versus in France, and was instrumental in finding me an excellent Family Law firm in Paris to help with the custody procedure.
Her advice was always clear and practical, and along with her compassionate approach to the case, always helped me to stay calm and stable throughout the process, even when things appeared extremely dark and difficult. I cannot over stress how valuable having a calm and compassionate person who understands the law inside out is when going through a difficult divorce; Hero is such a person.
The results of her work were amazing. My divorce and the separation of assets was also achieved in under a year, which is by all accounts extremely fast. This was done against a background of an spouse who made every step a battle.
